Apparently FOX is planning to announce tomorrow during their upfront presentations for upcoming schedules that the premiere of Season 4 of 24 will be in January - and moved to Monday nights.

Well, President Palmer is back — only this time, it’s Wayne. Somehow, I don’t see him as the presidential type. He was David’s Karl Rove type guy, but didn’t seem like chief-executive material himself.
I hope they make it believable and not play it as some sort of apologetic concession that they shouldn’t have killed off the original President Palmer in the first place. That said, I’m not sure who I’d have liked to see as president instead. Logan must be doing some well-deserved hard time and Keeler hardly seems like the viable option (surviving the Air Force One explosion, but he could be a vegetable for all we know).
Maybe this season calls for somebody who has no qualms about getting some dirt under his fingernails in which case Wayne may be your guy. I thought they might opt for Heller as a logical successor.
