The Big Bad Apple
Producers for the hit Fox series 24 confirm they have been in talks with New York city officials about filming "some" of season six there. While no plot details have been revealed, executive producer Joel Surnow tells TV Guide's Michael Ausiello that plans are in the works for Bauer to visit the city that, like Bauer, never sleeps.

To watch... or not...
I can't decide if I want to watch the season over again this summer when FOX reruns it. Part of me wants to, because I'd feel like a disloyal fan if I didn't support my show. But part of me wants to have a breather from it so I can devour the DVDs when they come out later this year.
I'm happy that 24 starts in January so that I can enjoy a new episode every week instead of ridiculous breaks that require recap episodes peridically to remind us what's been going on (ie. Lost.) Yeah the long break between seasons sucks but the payoff is worth it. It could be worse you know, it could be Soprano-like with a new season whenever the hell they feel like making it.
But nothing, I mean nothing beats being able to sit down on a Friday night and watch every fast-paced, exciting episode right on through to Sunday. We love the 24-a-thons in my house. A whole weekend of Jack? Who wouldn't love that?
I'm just afraid of overdosing on it if I watch the summer repeats of it and then again in late fall with the DVDs. I like to space out the Jack. It's like a tantlizing tease knowing I could watch the show every Friday night, or I could torture myself (in a good way) and wait for the disks.
I think I prefer the torture. Hurts so good ;)
