She left it with an unacceptable (to any real Jack Bauer fan) ending and I decided to pick up where she left off and ended up linking seasons 3 and 4 together.
We pick up sometime after Jack has been suspended, pending a clean bill of health after the Salazar case (meaning he has to get rid of the heroin addiction) and he's not managing very well on his own. He goes out boozin' one night, gets 'picked up' by the wrong lady, ends up drugged out and tied up in the hands of a gang who 'use' him to initiate a new member, who is required to rape their elected victim. After the rape (which is thankfully quick), they beat the shit out of Jack and throw him out in an alley, leaving him to deal with what just happened on his own, counting on the humiliation and punishment to be enough to keep him from going to the cops to report it ..... little do they know they picked the wrong guy to mess wih, heroin addiction or not.
And thus is started.
